Disposable of Recyclables

We also offer disposal of recyclables that are not collected at curbside recycling.  This includes items such as rechargeable batteries, CFL lights, empty propane tanks, ink cartridges, motor oil, etc...  This service is only offered to our customers and is complimentary.  The only cost to our clients for this service is the reimbursement for fees we are charged at the recycling center.  

If you do have items you need disposed of you should first check your cities website.  Almost all cities /towns have a houselhold hazardouss collection day monthly at the cities DPW.  They are always on Saturday mornings and are free for the residents (proof of residency is required).  They require all items to be secure  and clearly marked / identifiable --(for example motor oil should be in a secured container with a lid and marked as motor oil).

For items that your local DPW will not accept, E-mail us and we will find out if we can find another recycling center that will dispose of the item safely.
